Craig Kilborn was born as Craig Lawrence Kilborn on August 24, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Further, his father name is Hiram Kilborn, an insurance executive, and mother, Shirley Kilborn, a school teacher. Later, his parents moved to Hastings, Minnesota when he was four years olds. Moreover, he belongs to white ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

His height was taller than an average child that leads him to play basketball. Later, in the 9th grade, he played on the Northside Magicians, as an all-star basketball team in Minneapolis. Kilborn attended his high school in Hastings High School. After his graduation, he got a scholarship to play basketball for Montana State University. From the University, he secured a dual’s bachelor’s degree in theater arts and media in 1984.

The 57 years old, talented and versatile personality, Kilborn started his career as a basketball player from an early age. But, his official career started when he decided to work as an anchor for sports. Further, his television career began as a sports anchor for KCBA, Monterey County’s Fox. Later, in 1993, he joined ESPN SportsCenter and worked there until 1996. He used to host the show with Dan Patrick.
