Mahesh is an Australian actor known for portraying the character of Dr.Doug Harris in the Australian television soap opera series Neighbours in 2010. He also made notable appearances in several series like Better Man and Marco Polo.

Mahesh Jadu was born in Carlton, Victoria, Australia, on October 26, 1982. His family is originally from Mauritius which is an Indian Ocean island nation. Jadu’s parents moved to Australia in the ’80s. He grew up alongside his sister Sandhya Jadu.

Later he portrayed the role of Dr. Doug Harris in the Australian television soap opera series Neighbours. Ultimately by seeing his acting talent Jadu landed the male lead role of Vijay in the film Taj in 2011 and male protagonist, Nasir Khan in The Three Ages of Sasha.

In addition, he started getting wide fame after doing the role of Ophir in the Australian-American science fantasy action horror film I, Frankenstein alongside Miranda Otto and Yvonne Strahovski 2012. The same year, Jadu starred as Ahmad in the American drama web television series Marco Polo starring  Rick Yune and Michelle Yeoh. In 2015, Jadu made his appearance in the romance time travel adventure film The Lovers.

Mahesh is an avid animal lover. His social account posts prove that how much he loves animals. He owns a dog name Eskimo and spends lots of time with the pet.
